The high-modulus graphite and glass composite blank delivers exceptional sensitivity for detecting bites from delicate feeders like pompano and whiting while still providing the backbone to haul large striped bass and redfish through heavy surf. Titanium-framed guides with silicon carbide inserts minimize friction and prevent grooving from heavy braided line. The extended EVA foam split-grip handle with aluminum reel seat provides a secure, comfortable hold during long casting sessions and extended battles. A fighting butt cap protects the rod when it’s planted in a sand spike. The 3-piece design allows easy transport in the included rod sleeve. Available in 10, 11, and 12 foot lengths.
